The existing facility is located on the southeast corner of the Perris Boulevard and Ironwood Avenue intersection in the City of Moreno Valley. Eastern recently purchased the proposed site at 24926 Elder Avenue in the City of Moreno Valley (APN: 481-322-041) for the replacement booster pumping station. The proposed site is approximately 2,100 feet southerly of the existing booster pumping station. The proposed Project consists of demolishing an existing building and parking lot on the recently purchased site; construction of a new booster pumping station (Perris and Elder BPS); and installation of new service pipelines required for the pumping station within Elder Avenue, Perris Boulevard, and Ironwood Avenue. Upon approval of the proposed Project, the existing building and parking lot on the proposed site would be demolished. Construction of the new booster pumping station is anticipated to begin in late 2015 and completed in late 2016. Once the replacement facility is operational, the existing facility will be decommissioned. Above grade aspects will be removed and below grade features will be abandoned in place and secured. It is anticipated that demolition of the existing booster pumping station would occur in early 2017.
