The crossing has not been in use for a number of years and has accumulated a significant amount of sediment and debris, causing water to backwater and flood adjacent properties as well as remaining stagnate a significant portion of the year. The stream was historically filled with sediment to create a crossing and backwater area for a water diversion that is no longer in use. Approximately 140-cubic yards of crossing fill and accumulated sediment will be removed from an approximately 200-foot section of stream and the stream returned to its natural grade and contour. Just upstream from the crossing an existing metal platform extending from the bank into the stream channel will be cut off at grade using hand tools and removed from the stream channel. The stream will be accessed from the existing crossing; an excavator or backhoe will be used to remove accumulated sediment and debris which will then be removed from the site and properly disposed of off-site. No water will be present in the stream when work occurs. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0322-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2014118067,Lytton Ditch Crossing Decommission,Adam McKannay,"California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Region 3",N/A,,7329 Silverado Trail,,Napa,CA,94558,7079445534,,Healdsburg,Sonoma,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,"S:15301, Class 1",Existing Facilities.,,,,,,,,,,,,
