The purpose of the project is to remediate soil and groundwater impacted with Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which include Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) and Trichloroethylene (TCE), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), toluene, vinyl chloride, and chloroform that exceeds the project-specific commercial/industrial cleanup levels in order to minimize human exposure and protect the environment. The cleanup is expected to take approximately six years to complete. The RAP proposes to operate a Soil Vapor Extraction system to remove VOCs from impacted soils and apply in-situ biological treatment to remediate groundwater followed by monitored natural attenuation. Upon completion of the RAP, a Land Use Covenant (LUC)/deed restrictions will be implemented to limit Site to industrial/commercial uses and prohibit future Site use for residential, hospital, hospice, school, or daycare center use of the property, and provide a management plan for any future maintenance work in the soils.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2014101039,Remedial Action Plan for Saugus Industrial Center,Jose Diaz,Department of Toxic Substances Control,N/A,,9211 Oakdale Avenue,,Chatsworth,CA,91311,8187176614,34°4.15'37.636731"N 118°5.39'25.83298"W,Santa Clarita,Los Angeles,,Drayton St. and Railroad Avenues,91350,32,2836010013,Hwy 14,Santa Clara River,No,No,10/15/2014,11/13/2014,"Other, Waste Treatment, Waste Treatment",,"Aesthetics, Agriculture and Forestry Resources, Air Quality, Geology/Soils, Hazards & Hazardous Materials, Hydrology/Water Quality, Land Use/Planning, Mineral Resources, Noise, Public Services, Recreation, Transportation, Vegetation",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
