Precast concrete headwalls (width 11 feet by height 8 feet) with flared wing walls (angled 30 degrees from headwall surface) will be installed on the inlet and outlet. Once the culvert and headwall assembly are in place, a reinforced concrete apron will be poured to key the structure into the channel bottom, and approximately 5 tons of 18-inch minus revetment will be placed around each headwall to reduce erosion. Sutter Maintenance Yard (SMY) staff will perform all site work except traffic control and asphalt paving, which will be performed by the Sutter County Public Works Department. SMY staff will continue routine annual maintenance of the collecting canal within 50 feet of the culvert. This includes: removal of debris, spraying herbicide, mowing or burning of vegetation on slopes, dragging slopes, re-grading access roads, and minor erosion repairs. The increase water conveyance of the proposed culvert design will reduce the need to remove debris from the culvert inlet.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2014042053/5,Sutter Bypass Collecting Canal Culvert Rehabilitation - Hughes Road,Tanya Sheya,CDFW North Central Region,N/A,,"1701 Nimbus Road, Suite A",,Rancho Cordova,CA,95670,9163582953,39°4'23.37"N 121°44'36.04"W,Yuba City,Sutter,,Hughes Road and Schlag Road,,.5,,,Collecting Canal and Sutter Bypass,Vanderford Ranch,,,,,,,,,,,,CDFW ,No,8/18/2015,No,No,Yes,,Yes,,No,Yes,"CDFW North Central Region, 1701 Nimbus Road, Suite A, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670"
