These wells have a high concentration of nitrates and dbromochloropropane (DBCP) as a result of decades of agricultural usage in the area. These levels do not meet current public health standards are limiting water prodcution for the District. The installation of a package granular activated carbon (GAC) system would filter the water removing DBCP bringing the water back to within public health standard limits. This package treatment system could enable the District to increase water production by 2,600 AF. The process is commonly used throughout the industry and is an accepted practice approved by the State Department of Public Health.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2013078333,CP7249 Reservoir 3A Wethead Treatment Facility,Russel Silva,Cucamonga Valley Water District,N/A,,10440 Ashford Street,,Rancho Cucamonga,CA,91730,9099872591,,Rancho Cucamonga,San Bernardino,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,"15301, 15303",Minor alateration of existing public or private instrastructure or facilities.,,,,,,,,,,,,
