The Department's Safe Drinking Water Proposition 84 Program is providing state funds for the project. The Ducor Community Services District proposes to install a new water supply well (Well No. 6) in the northeast area of the community. The construction project will include development of a pilot hole, production testing, well video inspection, water quality analysis, the installation of pump and motor as well as constructing the well facility with discharge piping and electrical. The well pump and motor will be housed in an insulated 10 by 10 foot enclosure with steel siding and roofing. The new well facility includes a 3,000 gallon hydropneumatic tank, discharging piping, valves, and appurtenances, and a chlorine injection system. The project includes approximately 1,500 feet of 8-inch PVC transmission pipeline to be installed connecting the well water to the existing South Well No. 4 storage tank.
