Burned shrubs and 300-400 trees will be cut, chipped and spread on-site, to provide ground cover. Most of the trees are Ponderosa Pine, but Black Oak and Douglas Fir, will also be removed. The trees range in size from 2 to 28 inches diameter at breast height. Areas close to the highway will be mulched and seeded. Four culverts, that were burned will be replaced at the outlets for energy dissipation.
