Project is limited to 20 encroachments. All work is a part of the Mendocino Coast TMDL Implementation Program, which reduces sediment in the Navarro River watershed. This includes installation or enhancement of nine armored fill crossings, four culvert replacements, decommissioning of three crossings, and two other treatments. The project will draft water directly to a water truck from an existing on-stream reservoir. Replacement culverts shall be sized for 100-year flood events. Armored fill crossings shall be engineered to prevent erosion and mobilization of rock and silt. Decommissioning will include removing fill and laying streambanks back to a stable configuration.
