The intent of the relocated railroad crossing was to improve vehicular access, pedestrian and traffic safety, and traffic circulation for the area in accordance with the approved 2003 Central Petaluma Specific Plan. The City has conducted this environmental review to evaluate potential environmental impacts associated with permanent authorization of the relocated railroad crossing.
