The well is located on 1681 Bay Flat Road and the chlorination structure is located on 1707 Bay Flat Road. The purpose of the proposed new well is to allow the Bodega Bay Public Utility District (BBPUD) to be in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Standards that require water supply to be able to match peak demands without reliance on storage, as required by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations requires water from the new well housing is approximately six inches in diameter and contained in a four-foot by six-foot utility vault constructed approximately at grade. The new well includes a submersible pump at a depth of approximately 80 to 100 feet below the ground surface. A new six-inch pipe will be installed along the driveway that serves the proposed well and will connect to the existing BBPUD water main at Bay Flat Road. An additional pipe will be installed from the well to the chlorination structure. Access to the proposed well is from a private driveway that serves two parcel located at 1681 and 1677 Bay Flat Road. The Bodega Bay Public utility District researched alternative sites to locate a new well and determined this was the only feasible location that would meet the requirements of CDPH.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2011062028,Bodega Bay Public Utility Dist (PLP09-0057),Cynthia Demidovich,Sonoma County Permit and Resource Management Department,N/A,,2550 Ventura Avenue,,Santa Rosa,CA,95403-2829,7075651754,38°20'15.7848"N 123°3'31.467"W,,Sonoma,,Eastshore Road,94923,3.78,"100-060-012, -004, -010, -015, & -016",Hwy 1,Johnson Gulch,No,Yes,6/9/2011,7/8/2011,Other,"Coastal Permit, Use Permit",Biological Resources,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
