The primary invasive plants that will be targeted include purple starthistle and smooth distaff thistle. The presence of these invasive plants diplaces native vegetation and, if left untreatedm is expected to spread further across the property and into adjacent areas. Treatment of the invasive plants includes herbicide application and hand removal to be completed by a qualified contracted herbicide applicator, and hand crews. The estimated level of work to control the two species is up to 150 acres of treatment per year for up to 7 years. In development of the project plan, the District consulted with a licensed Pest Control Adviser to assist with selection of herbicides, application methods, and time of year for application.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2009032070,Vegetation Management at Two Coastal Ranches,Cindy Roessler,Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District,N/A,,330 Distel Circle,,Los Altos,CA,94022,6506911200,37°18'50"N 122°13'46"W,,San Mateo,,West of Mindego Ridge Trail and Alpine Road,94020,150/yr,"080-320-060, -340-010",35,"Mindego Creek, Mindego and Knuedler Lakes",,No,3/20/2009,4/20/2009,,,"Aesthetics, Air Quality, Biological Resources, Cultural Resources, Cumulative Effects, Geology/Soils, Hazards & Hazardous Materials, Hydrology/Water Quality, Land Use/Planning, Noise, Recreation, Vegetation, Wetland/Riparian, Wildfire",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
