The new ordinance would update and replace existing County regulations in order to be consistent with applicable requirements of the Central Valley regulations in order to be consistent with applicable requirements of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Basin Plan) and to incorporate other changes based on the current state of knowledge and advances in practices and technologies for on-site wastewater treatment and disposal. Notably, the ordinance would: (a) implement more standardized procedures for soil and site evaluations; (b) incorporate new requirements pertaining to the vertical separation between the bottom of dispersal systems and groundwater or restrictive layers; (c) provide a broader range of treatment and dispersal designs; and (d) institute a program to assure ongoing maintenance of certain types of systems. The new proposed On-Site Wastewater ordinance, dated May 28, 2008, has been drafted by the Butte County Public Health Department, Division of Environmental Health, over a two-year period in cooperation with a local stakeholder group (""Wastewater Working Group"").",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2009032027/2,Butte County Individual On-Site Wastewater Ordinance,Brad Banner,Butte County Public Health Department,N/A,,202 Mira Loma Drive,,Oroville,CA,95965,5305386772,,,Butte,,,,,,,,,Yes,8/11/2009,10/1/2009,Other,,"Aesthetics, Agriculture and Forestry Resources, Air Quality, Biological Resources, Cultural Resources, Cumulative Effects, Drainage/Absorption, Flood Plain/Flooding, Geology/Soils, Growth Inducement, Hazards & Hazardous Materials, Hydrology/Water Quality, Land Use/Planning, Noise, Public Services, Septic System, Transportation, Vegetation, Wetland/Riparian, Wildlife",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
