Project 1 proposes to rock an area where a small seep drains across the road. Project 2,3, and 4 proposes to install a temporary 6"" culvert to allow spring seeps that have been created from leaks originating from the Bowman-Spaulding Canal to flow under the road during timber salvage operations. Water will be temporarily diverted using a water sock while installing the temporary culvert pipe. Small ditches approximately 12"" deep will be dug for placement of the pipe and then covered with 6-9 inches of 2-4"" rock. Once operation are complete, the two rocked dips at project 1 will be re-contoured at the two locations where water crosses the road, if necessary, to keep water moving through the currently utilized drainages. Temporary culverts at Projects 2, 3 & 4 shall be removed and the existing rock used to cover the culverts will be re-contoured as natural dips for water channel water across the road to existing utilized drainages.
