The proposed project is to implement the Well Master Plan (WMP) project to improve redundancy and flexibility in the SCWD's water production and distribution system while redistributing pumping away from coastal and depressed groundwater areas. The WMP proposes converting an existing irrigation well at Polo Grounds Regional Park to a municipal well. Auxiliary improvements related to the five proposes wells include new pipelines and water treatment facilities. The SCWD also proposed to abandon and destroy one deteriorating production well and remove two existing production wells from service and maintain those wells as inactive wells. Implementation of the WMP would not increase ground water pumping, but would allow SCWD to redistribute groundwater pumping to achieve more uniform drawdown, reduce susceptibility to seawater intrusion, and minimize localized pumping depression. Implementation of the WMP would likely occur over a five-year period, with one new well constructed each year.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2008072018/2,Montalvin Manor Redevelopment Area Planned-Unit District Rezoning and Development Plan,Jan Sweigert,CA Department of Public Health,N/A,,CDPH Monterey District Office,"1 Lower Ragsdale Dr., Bldg 1, Ste 120",Monterey,CA,93940,8316556939,38°0'0"N 122°22'30"W,San Pablo,Contra Costa,,San Pablo Avenue and Kay Road,94806,214,Numerous,Interstate 80,"Garrity Creek, Pinole Creek, Rheem Creek",,,,,,,,,,,,,CA Department of Public Health ,No,8/8/2012,Yes,Yes,No,,Yes,,Yes,Yes,"CA Department of Public Health CDPH Monterey District Office 1 Lower Ragsdale Dr., Bldg 1, Ste 120 Monterey, CA 93940"
