Drilling the wells involve moving a two axel semi truck approximately 100 feet south of the existing camp road and erecting the truck and with minimal ground disturbance within 50 feet of the truck. The project also includes running a single 2-inch water line and 3-inch conduit for future power approximately 1,350 feet from the two wells south of the main road into camp across the existing road and up a hill to an existing water tank. The water line will then be plumbed into the existing tank and will feed the camp through preexisting water lines to the main holding tanks. Only brush and minor vegetation will be cut in order to trench for water and power. Electricity to the two wells will be supplied either by connecting to existing electric service in the camp and running the wire through conduit buried in a new trench approximately 1,100 feet due east to the camp's existing generator building or a power drop from Southern California Edison. A generator will be used temporarily until the ""hard"" wiring can be installed.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2007088211/2,Pilot Rock Conservation Camp - Well Drilling and Well Connection Project,Glenn Barley,California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection,N/A,,3800 North Sierra Way,,San Bernardino,CA,92405,9098816900,,,San Bernardino,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Categorical Exemption,"Section 15304(e), (g)",This project fits within the Class 4 Categorical Exemption described in state law (14 CCR Section 15304) pertaining to minor alterations to land.
