Repairs will also include ingress and egress stepped wing walls, slope repair, and access road construction. Damage is the result of severe flooding along the Little John Creek watershed in April 2006. The work area will extend to the top of the stream bank, varying between 20 and 50 feet in width, and continue along the channel approximately 100 feet upstream and downstream of the culvert. The area does not appear to support any listed or sensitive plant species and is too small to provide permanent habitat for anything other than small birds and mammals (Biological Assessment, conducted by Stantec in August 2006). All proposed work will occur during the dry season, while the stream bed is dry. No sensitive, threatened, or endangered species will be significantly impacted by the proposed project and no significant cultural resources are known to occur within the project boundaries.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2006108226,Conestoga Road Culvert Replacement,Rob Houghton,Calaveras County Department of Public Works,N/A,,891 Mtn.
