This project is part of a larger project (the Interpretive Center) and involves the installation of a pedestrian bridge over Cordilleras Creek and restoration of approximately 200 linear feet of riparian habitat along both sides of the creek. The habitat restoration activities will include removal of non-native and invasive plant species, and the restoration of the area with native plants. The restoration will also include adding 20 feet to the width to the riparian zone on the north side of the creek by planting riparian and oak woodland plant species to act a an additional buffer between the parking lot and the top of the creek bank.
