A 480-foot reach of San Juan Creek Road will be raised to a finished grade of approximately four feet above its current elevation. Riprap will be placed along the northern side of the road to prevent upstream surges from overflowing the banks and causing flooding of the road to prevent damage to sewage forcemains. Improvements to the upstream segment of Canada Gobernadora Creek from San Juan Creek Road will consist of the removal of portions of the corrugated metal pipe (cmp), construction of a concrete inlet structure and construction of a headwall at the location of the inlet structure. Additional riprap may be placed behind the headwall. A temporary berm will be erected approximately 30-feet upstream of the project area, along with a dewatering pipe to convey flows around the project area during construction. Vegetation within this 30-foot upstream reach will be cleared prior to construction. Following completion of the project, the berm and dewatering pipe will be removed. Improvements to the downstream segment of Canada Gobernadora Creek from San Juan Creek Road will consist of the removal of portions of the cmp, removal of grouted riprap surrounding the cmp, and construction of a concrete outlet structure. Riprap placement will occur within a 60-foot-wide by 88-foot-long area surrounding the outlet structure. All vegetation within the impacted area will be cleared prior to construction.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2004071070/2,Canada Gobernadora Culvert Improvement,Bart Lantz,Santa Margarita Water District,N/A,,PO Box 7005,,Mission Viejo,CA,92690-7005,9494596504,,Mission Viejo,Orange,,San Juan Creek Road,92693,0.15,,,Canada Gobernadora Creek,,,,,,,,,,,,,Santa Margarita Water District ,Yes,8/13/2004,No,No,Yes,,,,,,
