American Tower Corporation builds wireless communications towers and leases antenna space to carriers. The proposed project includes constructing a single 150-foot high metal lattice tower that would support 12 panel antennas, and up to five equipment shelters. All the facilities would be within the 10,000 square foot (80 feet x 125 feet) fenced lease area on the site. At build-out, four sets of antennas would be mounted at intervals between 104 feet and 150 feet on the tower. A lightning rod would extend an additional eight feet above the top of the 150-foot tower. No microwave antennas would be installed at the site. The project also includes minor grading to improve the existing access road, and installing underground electrical.
