Approximately 6.33 acres is District-owned property; the remaining property (0.87 acre) will be acquired through vacation of a portion of 45th Street. Under this alternative, the new Mead Elementary School will accommodate up to 450 students (grades K-5). There will be capacity to add an additional 100 students.
