The East Bay Municipal District proposed project includes the construction and operation of an ultrafiltration water treatment plant at the Camanche South Shore Recreation Area that will treat 5 million gallons per day of water from the Mokelumne aqueducts, instead of using underground wells and the Comanche Reservoir. The project will serve the Camanche South Shore Recreation Area, Camanche North Shore Recreation Area, Camanche Lake Village (Amador Water Agency) and the Wallace Community Services District (Calaveras County.) The project will also include a 6,200 foot, 12-inch diameter pipe to provide raw water from the Mokelumne aqueducts to the new treatment plant and fiber optic cable, a 13,700 linear feet 8 inch pipe to convey water from the Camanche South Shore Recreation Area to the Camanche North Shore Recreation Area, and two 1,700 gallons per minute supply pumps to provide water to the North Shore existing water storage tanks. The water treatment plant will replace two other treatment plants, without an increase in capacity.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/2001072084/5,Camanche Water Treatment Plant Replacement Project,Bhupinder Sahota,State Water Resources Control Board Stockton District Office,N/A,,"31 E.
