Project includes the construction of a connecting segment (500 feet long) of the Harding Boulevard to Royer Park Bike Trail Project that runs along the north side of Dry Creek. The project begins just east of Folsom Road Bridge Crossing. The project involves construction of an approx. 500-foot-long Class I bike trail along the north side of Dry Creek. The trail will connect to the existing Harding Boulevard to Royer Park Trail segments located east and west of this segment (referred to as ""Segment 3""). The trail will have a 10-foot paved path with 3-foot to 5-foot shoulders. The trail connection will start on the upper terrace of Dry Creek, on the east side of Folsom Road. At this point, the trial will run westward and down along the upper bank of Dry Creek where minimal vegetation removal (primarily a large redwood tree and three oak trees) and some limited tree trimming will be required. The trail will run along the bank of the creek and under the Folsom Road Bridge. After crossing under the bridge, the trail will run along an existing access road that parallels the creek and connect to the existing trail located near the City's future fire station site located north of Dry Creek and east of Lincoln Street.
