No substantial changes in the existing land use designations are included in the proposed update. The proposed General Plan includes the reduction of approximately 182 acres of residential uses. Within the existing City limits, non-residential acreage is reduced by 18 acres and residential acreage is increased by 18 acres. Within the sphere of influence, the change is a reduction of 200 acres in residential uses, and an increase of 200 acres in non-residential uses.
