The land use entitlements consist of a rezoning ordinance changing the land use designation from ""GM"" Growth Management to ""PC"" Planned Community (with a Comprehensive Development Plan or CDP), a proposed subdivision tentative map, a Hillside Management Permit approval, and a Ridgeline Grading Exception. The San Juan Capistrano City Council originally approved the project on May 21, 2002 by introducing a rezoning ordinance and directing that a revised tentative map be brought back to the City Council for final approval. Also on May 21, 2002 The City Council directed that, as a component of the rezoning, the City may review and approve grading permits for the high school site prior to tentative map approval, providing said plans are in conformance with the rezoning approval and CDP and are complete and compliant with the city grading requirements. On June 18, 2002 the City Council approved the 2nd Reading of the Rezoining Ordinance. The project development includes a high school to be located on approximately 50 acres, 15 residential units to be located in the West Canyon area of the project site, and 160 units in the East Canyon area of the project site. Primary access is to be from Avenida La Mancha for the West Canyon and La Pata Avenue for the East Canyon residential area and high school site.",https://ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/1998031150/6,Agreement Regarding Proposed Stream Alteration (SAA R5-2002-0115) for the Construction of the San Juan Hills High School,Tom Tomlinson,City of San Juan Capistrano,N/A,,32400 Paseo Adelanto,,San Juan Capistrano,CA,92675,9494931171,,San Juan Capistrano,Orange,,,,470,"664-171-1,664-172-1,124-223-23&45,124-140-49,50,51&53","74, I-5",,,,,,,,,,,,,,"City of San Juan Capistrano, City Council ",Yes,6/18/2002,Yes,Yes,No,,Yes,,Yes,Yes,"San Juan Capistrano 32400 Paseo Adelanto San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675"
