The DMP also mentions that the ultimate condition will require an additional regional basin at the ""Sacramento Aggregate Plant"" (the Triangle Rock quarry) at a future time (noted as ""20 to 25 years away"" at the time the DMP was published). This ultimate basin would be located south of Florin Road in between the Folsom South Canal and Laguna Creek. The VSCP itself included plans to incorporate pedestrian and bicycle trails within the open space corridor along Laguna Creek. The goals of the adopted DMP included the elimination of what is called the ""inter-basin transfer"" between Laguna and Gerber Creek and the containment of the 100-year floodplain within the Laguna Creek open space corridor.
