Improvements of publicly owned land and ROW along the LA River include decomposed granite trails, native plantings, entry area, community gathering spaces, orchard and community gardens, interpretive signage. Stormwater best management practices included throughout the project area where appropriate to capture and or reuse water prior to entering the river. Project areas are owned by LA County, Dept of Public Works, LADWP, City of South Gate, & Edison.
