Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to upgrade the existing conductors and Light-emitting diode (LED) luminaries at eight (8) locations along State Route (SR) 99 at Postmile (PM) 15.67, 15.76,15.77, 15.850, 15.86,16.8,16.82 in Stanislaus County and Interstate(I) 5 at PM 17.58 in Merced County. The scope of work includes replacing all existing signal heads, existing conductors, and all LED luminaries at all 8 on/off ramps. All work will be done within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of the project is to ensure all electrical equipment is upgraded to the new standard. The project is needed to enhance safety and operational efficiency in Merced and Stanislaus counties.
