Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) partnered with Contra Costa County and other public entities within the County to update its multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. As a pre-condition for eligibility to receive potential future funding from the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program and the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Program, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires that Central San’s Board adopts the 2024 Contra Costa Hazard Mitigation Plan — Central Contra Costa Sanitary District Annex.
