Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a small mixed-light tier 1 commercial cannabis license. The Project will consist of approximately 13,545 sqft of total area, with an additional 1,650 sqft residence on the property. There is no historic cannabis cultivation on the property. Proposed project elements will be four (4) 30’ x 110’ Temporary Hoop Houses, and one (1) 30’ x 50’ Temporary Hoop House. Total Mature canopy will be 10,000 sqft, total immature canopy will be 2,060 sqft. The future proposed facilities will be permitted greenhouses to replace the temporary structures within the same general footprint of cultivation. Water is supplied by a permitted groundwater well and pump that is currently installed on the property. The property utilizes a permitted septic system serviced routinely as needed. Other utility services are through Trinity Public Utilities District.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
