Document Description
Pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1652, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife has approved the Hunewill Land & Livestock USDA NRCS Bank Restoration and Stabilization Project submitted by Suni Miller. Timberline Enterprises LLC, under contract with the landowner, Hunewill Land and Livestock LLC, propose to conduct channel restoration of 0.05 acres of severely damaged and incised stream channel within the Bodie Creek watershed. The proposed action is to provide grade stabilization and minimize the potential for headcut migration into the meadow system. The proposed restoration actions include constructing a rocked valley-bottom grade control structure, placing velocity dissipating boulders at the culvert outlet, reshaping and regrading bank, and revegetating the site with native riparian species.
