Document Description
As part of the ongoing maintenance program, Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) aims at replacing the roofs of eight (8) buildings at a variety of EMWD's facilities with the purpose of extending the service life of the buildings as well as improving the aesthetics (see Exhibit 1). These roofs are worn down, reaching the end of their_ useful life, and causing water damage to building interiors due to roof leakage. They will be replaced with WeatherWeld, a high-tech, seamless material that does not require the demolition of the existing roof or heat for application. WeatherWeld has been used by EMWD at other facilities since 2018 and has fixed leaky roofs, extended the useful life of buildings, and provided improved aesthetics while proving to be cost-effective and durable.
