Document Description
In accordance with the Notification and supporting documents, the proposed project would standardize the road superelevation through the existing compound curve and widening the shoulders. The metal beam guardrail would be upgraded to Midwest guardrail system and existing vegetation control (minor concrete) would be removed and replaced. A 25' rock slope protection buttress would be constructed along the southbound shoulder at PM 125.29 to stabilize the shoulder. Culvert replacement work is proposed at 5 locations within the project limits; PM 125.27 (Replacement), PM 125.34 (Replacement), PM 125.41 (New), PM 125.46 (Abandon) PM 125.49 (Replacement).

The project will be repairing or replacing an existing facility to increase roadway safety. There is negligible or no expansion of an existing facility. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, threatened, or rare species or their habitat pursuant to §15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
