IEP Camp Pendleton Energy Storage 1, LLC (Applicant) proposes to construct and operate a battery energy storage project, the Haybarn Energy Reliability Center (Project), on Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton in San Diego County, California. The Project would provide a combined total of 50 megawatts (MW) or 486 megawatt hours (MWh) of energy storage using zinc hybrid cathode aqueous
battery technology. The site of the Project is 19.35 acres in size located in Haybarn Canyon on land owned by MCB Camp Pendleton.
