Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SIS-53710-R1I pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Deangelo Contracting Services. The project is limited to vegetation management activities in a manner that maintains public safety at railroad crossings owned by Union Pacific Railroad at various locations between Dunsmuir and Weed. Routine maintenance activities shall be defined as those activities periodically scheduled and implemented as necessary to maintain healthy riparian ecosystems while protecting public safety by preserving line-of-sight needed for vehicular traffic at railroad crossings.

As part of maintenance of the at-grade railroad crossings, Permittee will trim and manage vegetation within the line of site of the crossing to maintain safe operation of railroad facilities.

As part of maintenance of the at-grade railroad crossings, Permittee will trim and manage vegetation within the line of site of the crossing to maintain safe operation of railroad facilities. There will be no removal of healthy, mature, or scenic trees.
