Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines § 15311 Accessory Structures of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Class 11 exemption consists of construction, or placement of minor structures accessory to (appurtenant to) existing commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities. The Applicant is proposing a modification and approval for Substantial Conformance to the wall/fence plan approved as part of MA21070 and SDP21018.The proposed modification SDP21018S1 includes the addition of a 3-foot-high, 271-foot-long cable safety fence to be installed to the north of the existing site’s wall/metal tube fence. Except for the proposed addition of the cable safety fence the approved wall/fence plan remains unchanged. The proposed additional fence is located inside the Project’s site footprint that was analyzed as part of the approved project and adopted MND.
