Document Description
Pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1652, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has approved the Lower Slinkard Creek Fish Barrier Improvement Project (Project). The Project proposes to reinforce and enhance an existing fish barrier on Slinkard Creek that to: 1) stabilize the site of the current weir to prevent future weir failures and Slinkard Creek bank erosion, and 2) widen the existing weir by three feet to prevent upstream migration of non-native fish.
