Document Description
The project consists of the relocation across the north side of the roadway of a line segment of the existing 92kV transmission line with underbuilt distribution in the Worthington Road and Salt Creek Slough area and the installation of a temporary distribution line (shoe-fly) to bypass the construction relocation area. The transmission line segment that follows the same alignment as the Worthington Road double curve turn south of Erskine Road is supported on tangent and guyed wood pole structures. The transmission guyed wood pole structures have been compromised due to the river bank erosion which led to the loss of foundation around the transmission infrastructure and the relocation of this segment will alleviate the potential deficient pole placement. The section of the guyed wood pole structures section of the transmission line will be converted to self-supported steel lattice mast-type structures with foundations.
