Document Description
Director's Order to strengthen the existing structural members on the Richmond San Rafael (RSRB), to comply with new load rating guidelines from the Federal Highway Administration. A load rating report (December 2020) was completed for Caltrans and listed 16 locations on the RSRB as structurally deficient. Work covered under the DO retrofitted the 16 identified locations on the bridge, to meet updated FHWA load rating guidelines. DO also includes additional seismic maintenance work.
