Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-22736-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Mendocino County Department of Transportation. The proposed project will upgrade nine failing and undersized culverts as part of the Road 230 Improvement Project within Jackson State Demonstration Forest and will include minimal vegetation removal, excavation, removal of the existing culverts, replacement with new properly sized culverts, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.
