Reasons for Exemption
The project would allow for the temporary storage of vehicles in both indoor and outdoor spaces. The project would not require any construction or demolition as a part of the issuance of the minor use permit. It would not require the removal of vegetation or trees. The project would occur in previously disturbed areas and would not impact known or unknown historical resources or biological resources. The project site is not on a list complied pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the Government Code nor is it within the viewshed of a scenic highway. The project consists of the continued operation of an existing facility resulting in negligible or no expansion of use beyond that previously existing and is therefore exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
