Document Description
The Gatehouse at Will Rogers SHP was originally constructed in 1931 by contractor George Pardee to provide security for the Ranch. In recent years, a culvert on the hillside was plugged, causing mud and debris to flow into the yard of the Gatehouse. In preparation for the next resident, park maintenance staff are removing the dirt and propose to restore the landscape in accordance with the earliest photo we have of the Gatehouse from the 1950 Miles Allen appraisal report.
