Document Description
Caltrans is planning to conduct a geotechnical design investigation for the Eel River Bridge (Br. # 10-0236) located in Mendocino County on State Route 162, Postmile (PM) 8.2. The purpose of the investigation is to assess subsurface conditions. This investigation is needed to identify proper foundation upgrades. Two borings will be drilled next to existing piers into the riverbed. Boring depths are not expected to be more than 100 feet.
