Document Description
The 2022 Project consisted of the construction and operation of an approximately 396,914 gross square foot data center facility with a maximum electrical load of 99 MW. Two single-story data center buildings would be constructed, with the northern building (referred to as SJC02) totaling approximately 244,676 gross square feet and the southern building (referred to as SJC03) totaling approximately 152,238 gross square feet. Out of the 396,914 gross square feet for the two data center buildings, approximately 13,826 gross square feet would be administrative space consisting of restrooms and shower facilities, storage areas, and loading docks. A new 115 kilovolt (kV) electrical substation would be located in the northwestern corner of the data center site with two underground 115 kV electrical supply lines that would connect the new 115 kV substation to PG&E Los Esteros Substation, located adjacent to the western boundary of the data center site. The electrical supply lines from the 115 kV substation to the PG&E Los Esteros Substation would be approximately 0.2 miles long.
