- Document Description
- Notice of Exemption for an approved Caltrans project. Caltrans proposes to restore the eroded embankment slope at post mile (PM) 6.5 on State Route (SR) 92 by backfilling the eroded area with imported borrow material and extending the existing concrete barrier to the end of the concrete slab on the east approach slab of the bridge to westbound SR 92. The purpose of the project is to provide efficient and effective slope protection to prevent the recurrence of slope failure. The need is that this particular area exhibits severe erosion due to asphaltic concrete (AC) dike failure which allows surface runoff. The slope needs to be stabilized and the drainage needs to be redirected.
