Construct warning sign systems with vehicle detectors to activate flashing beacons. To install the electrical conduit for the flashing beacon systems, trenching and backfill will occur in specified areas. In addition, place Detail 40 at Road 144 to direct turning traffic into acceleration lane.

The project is maintenance and updating of an existing facility - SR 20 - initiated by District 1 Traffic safety for the purpose to improve safety for motorists and reduce the frequency of collisions occurring within the project limits. There will be no change in the use of the facility or unusual circumstances. There are no impacts or significant effects to environmental resources or cultural/historical resources, and standard project practices will be implemented to ensure compliance will all applicable laws
