- The project site consists of 10 acres and contains two schools that share facilities: Ruhkala Elementary School (369 students), and Rocklin Academy Charter School (364 students), for a total of 733 existing students. The project would add six portable classrooms, three kindergarten portable classrooms, and a multi-purpose building (with seating for approx. 400) to the Ruhkala Elementary School on the existing 10-acre campus. The project would also include ancillary support spaces, such as a warming kitchen, storage, separate student and staff toilets, the conversion of two existing classrooms (2 and 6) for additional administration office space and a staff workroom. The project would add a total of 15340 sq ft to the existing Ruhkala Elementary School (grades K-6). *See NOE for more details.
