CDFW has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0492-R1, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Kent Standley, representing Mendocino County Department of Transportation.
The project is limited to five encroachments. The project will replace four failing culverts and add a new culvert where a tributary had been directed into a roadside ditch. The culverts will be sized for 100-year-flow and conform to current standards regarding placement and installation.
The project replaces and improves existing culverts and adds one culvert to an existing road. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. The project is a minor alteration to land, water, and vegetation, and does not remove any mature, scenic trees.
