Document Description
Approval of License Agreement (Agreement) with the Serene Lakes property Owners association for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and operating seasonal and short term boat storage facilities, piers and docks for use by property owners in the District service area in compliance with the District's Lake Management Plan as set forth as Division XXX of Ordinance 18.01 (Ordinance). The intent of the Agreement and Ordinance is to establish reasonable regulations to address and put controls on the historical access to, and use of, the SLCWD Property and Lakes Dulzura and Serena in an effort to limit adverse impacts that may otherwise occurs in the absences of regulations that limit use of District property. All the actions embodied in the Agreement and Ordinance are minor in nature and are for the purpose of imposing water quality management measures to regulate and reduce the impacts of historic, unmanaged and informal resident use of the 75-acre lake and adjacent land. None of the actions proposed in the Agreement will directly serve to expand or increase usage of the lakes or permanently establish new land uses.
