Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0375-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Thomas Smythe, NCRM. The project is limited to 1 encroachments. The encroachment is to remove a failed 60 inch culvert and replace with a 50 foot engineered bridge over an unnamed class II watercourse that is tributary to Ryan Creek a Class 1 watercourse. Work for the bridge will include use and maintenance of the infrastructure.

The project proposes to replace a failed 60 inch culvert with a bridge that will improve fish and wildlife habitat. The bridge placement is a minor alteration of the land and water that will result in no significant impacts and will not involve removal of trees, vegetation or water. There would no significant hazardous materials at or around the project sire that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of pasts projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
