Document Description
The project consists of installing new water mains within the City of Porterville limits where household tanks were installed and implanted by Tulare County via a mutual agreement with the city during the severe drought. The grant received from the Department of Water Resources addresses these properties by extending the water main allowing property owners to connect. The grant will pay for the property owner's connection fees, and abandonment of the existing wells per Tulare County Standards as required by City Municipal Code.
